Call for 6th Grade Teacher

Central Lutheran School is now accepting applications for the sixth grade position for the 2010-2011 school year.  This opening is a direct result of Mrs. Rachel Jahr’s resignation because of her disability.  The school board will be starting the call process soon, so if you have names to suggest for this position, please call the school office, at (651) 645-8649.  When calling, please be prepared to supply the applicant’s name and contact information.  Preference is given to people who are eligible for a call from an LCMS school, however, non-LCMS trained applicants are welcome to apply and will need to submit a resume and a "Philosophy of Education".

The Director's Corner

“For my heart rejoiced in all my labor.”

                                Ecclesiastes 2:10

“To love what you do and feel that it matters:  how could anything be more fun?”

Having a good job is FUN!  There is nothing more rewarding in life than to be in a place that gives you joy and contentment while you earn a paycheck.  Getting up in the morning is easier and relaxing at night is not hard to do.  I have had many jobs that I love that also bring me peace (my current job included)!

However, no matter what we are doing to support our family, we need to remember that God tells us that we should rejoice in all that we do, trusting that He guards and keeps us while we work.  We should remember that even the “bad” jobs help to make us strong.  Be happy today at whatever job you do!
