Having taught at CLS for thirty years I had the pleasure of working with and teaching many wonderful students. I often share the latest news with many of my former colleagues. Several have suggested I write down my latest contacts. Many of these have been through facebook. Feel free to contact me if my info needs updating or correcting. - Connie Peterson

PRAYERS FOR THOSE IN THE MILITARY
Paul James graduated from CSP Univ. May 2008. He then began the fast track to become a United States Marine Pilot. He completed the Corps Officer Candidate School in Quanticao, Virginia. After a month of intensive flight training, he experienced his "first solo flight" of 120 miles. After that experience he is very excited about his choice for a future career. His many years of running "cross country" has been of benefit in helping him through the strenuous physical requirements. Paul has always valued his academic achievements and will have many opportunities to use them in service to his country.

PRAYERS FOR ALUMNI IN FULL TIME MINISTRY
THE JONATHAN AND CARRIE FEDERWITZ FAMILY, Nathan, Julia, Leah, and Rachel attended CLS 2007-2008. They have returned to their family ministry in Papua New Guinea. Their father is a pilot for the Bible Translators. He flies missionaries into and out of the mountainous regions. The whole family is a Christain witness to everyone they meet. The CLS students miss them. CLS gave their December chapel offerings to them for their ministry. The family loves to hear from their friends and appreciates all prayers. j-c.federwitz@sil.org.pg
A letter from the Federwitz family - July 9, 2009:
Dear students at CLS,
I apologize that this note is so late in coming to you. We want to say thank you for the financial support you sent in for us. Two years in a row now you have brought in an amazing amount of money for us with your offerings. What a blessing you are to us! We think of all of you so often and we have so many good memories of
our year with you while we were on furlough. We miss you all very much and hope to see many of you when we return to the States for our next furlough in three years.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers. We love you all!
Love,
Jonathan and Carrie Federwitz
