Central Lutheran School
 4th Grade

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Ephesians 4:32

I love CLS because I love working with my students and watching them grow in their knowledge of the Lord, and becoming more confident in their abilities and talents.

Education

B.A. in Education with a Concentration in History, Concordia University (College), St. Paul, Minnesota, 1972

Experience

Central Lutheran School, St. Paul, MN, 35 years in a variety of positions (Title I, remedial teaching, 8th grade classroom teacher, and 4th grade classroom teacher.)

I grew up in Washington, Iowa.  I graduated from Concordia College in St. Paul, MN.  With the exception of a few years when my husband was in the Army, I have lived in St. Paul and surrounding area since leaving Iowa. Our son and his two children are graduates of CLS  (preschool---8th grade.)  My husband is retired from the Minnesota Department of Revenue.

My Greatest Joy in working in a Christian school is the working relationship I have with my students and parents as we maintain a connection with home, church, and school.

Please welcome our student teacher, Mr. Schield.  He is a senior at Concordia University and will be with us through March 26th.  While Mr. Schield is with us, you might notice there is a change in the memory work assignments.  We will be adjusting this and assignments will resume soon!

Please note that the Lower Wing musical has been rescheduled to March 19th at 7:00.  Rehearsals are taking place!  If your child has a speaking part, please help him/her with the memorization.

I am in the process of scheduling a few field trips and will let you now as soon as I can!

We celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week from March 8-12.  Watch the Cougar Prints for special events during the week.
