Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Ephesians 4:32

I love CLS because I love working with my students and watching them grow in their knowledge of the Lord, and becoming more confident in their abilities and talents.

Education

B.A. in Education with a Concentration in History, Concordia University (College), St. Paul, Minnesota, 1972

Experience

Central Lutheran School, St. Paul, MN, 35 years in a variety of positions (Title I, remedial teaching, 8th grade classroom teacher, and 4th grade classroom teacher.)

I grew up in Washington, Iowa.  I graduated from Concordia College in St. Paul, MN.  With the exception of a few years when my husband was in the Army, I have lived in St. Paul and surrounding area since leaving Iowa. Our son and his two children are graduates of CLS  (preschool---8th grade.)  My husband is retired from the Minnesota Department of Revenue.

My Greatest Joy in working in a Christian school is the working relationship I have with my students and parents as we maintain a connection with home, church, and school.

Welcome to Fourth Grade 2010-2011!

I have enjoyed visiting with each of you fourth-graders and your parents.  I'm looking forward to a great year of fun and learning!  We will be busy with a variety of activities this year.

This year the fourth-graders have a new responsibility--raising and lowering the American and Christian flags on our flag pole.  We will learn how to raise, lower, and fold the flags.  What a wonderful way to help serve our school and community.

Remember to start getting your marathon pledges.  We will get more information after school begins.

Parents: I hope you can join us this year for our Parent, Teacher & Friends (PTFA) meetings this year.  The first one is Thursday, September 16 at  6:30.  We'll start in the  classroom followed by a program to become familiar with various activities and volunteer opportunities available at CLS.   Future meetings will provide parent support through The Love and Logic program.   Talk to me if you would like to know more.
