  Weekly Work

August 23, 2009

Did you get the letter I sent you several weeks ago?  If you didn't, call me so that you are sure to get the information from that letter!  It's important for the first day of school.  And I apologize for already giving you homework!...NOT!  You'll enjoy the "homework" and it will be a fun activity.

I have been calling to set up home visits.  If I haven't reached you yet, I hope that I will see you at the school picinic Monday evening and we can set one up then!  I look forward o talking to all you!

Thanks to Ben Goodrich and all his helpers who painted and made the new shelving in our room as part of Ben's Eagle Scout Project!!!

    SUMMER 2009
The International Reading Association has a great website for kids.  This site has lots of activities and ideas to keep you reading through the summer!   Activities include reading lists, making your own cartoon, other writing activies, shared book reviews, posting your own reviews, and more.   The site also has lots of ideas for parents to encourage reading and writing during the summer.  Most importantly, it's free!  Click below and you are on your way!
Order books in advance and have them delivered to the library closest to you.  Look up books by title, author, or series. Read, Read, Read!
