My favorite Bible passage right now is Genesis 48:15-16. Jacob and Joseph are together in Egypt. Jacob is old and is getting ready to bless Joseph's two sons. I love the way that Jacob describes God in this passage.
15 Then he blessed Joseph and said,
"May the God before whom my fathers
Abraham and Isaac walked,
the God who has been my shepherd
all my life to this day,
16 the Angel who has delivered me from all harm
—may he bless these boys.
I love CLS because there is a strong sense of "family" here. I really feel like the staff, students, and families really care about each other.

Top Ten Reasons I Love Teaching At CLS (In no particular order)
Chapel –love it!!!!!!!!
Hearing the choirs sing and knowing that Mrs. Wegner has put the word of God deep in their hearts through the music she selects.
Getting to know the amazing families that God brings to us from our neighborhood and the four corners of the world.
Seeing happy kids in the hallways.
Being able to collaborate with students on creative projects.
Listening to the kids recite memory work
Facilitating learning for different styles and types of learners.
Hearing, “Oh! Now I get it!”
Working with people who understand what a huge difference a kind word, a smile or a hug can make.
Being in a K-8 environment and watching the kids grow and mature.
Working with staff and faculty that REALLY REALLY care about the kids.
Reading devotions and praying with the kids.
Sharing the truth of God’s love with the students.
Being in a very small, very connected place.
Supportive parents who are excited about their child’s learning.
Knowing that I get to be just one part of a body of parents, students, faculty, staff and administration that all work very hard to do what is best for CLS!!
