“I just wanted to update you a little on what’s new at CLS. One new effort is the creation of a Vision Task Force – strangely enough, as the name suggests, the purpose of this task force is to create a “Vision” for CLS.
It’s our goal, that in creating this vision, we will enable us (CLS) to focus our efforts in marketing and fundraising by understanding what we do well and where we need to improve.
Any vision should not be the function of a particular individual or group, but rather, the work of those who know us best: our constituents – our parents, our grandparents and our supporters. With this in mind we are asking your help in telling us what you think – through this survey.
The survey is fairly short, but important. Perhaps read it and think about it before you complete it. Though each question allows for three responses, you don’t have to have three. We just want you to be thoughtful. Also, if you really have no opinion on a question, feel free to leave it blank.
The survey is available on paper or on-line. Our goal is to make it anonymous because we want your frank evaluation, otherwise this survey doesn’t do us any good.
Central Lutheran School is already a unique educational system, but not without it’s perceived drawbacks. However, we have some very dedicated people who earnestly believe we can make a difference. It is hoped that, through this survey, we can understand what we do well and where we need to focus our efforts to improve. Given this information, we can then focus on telling our story. We can change: it is our goal to see Central Lutheran School the school of choice for the urban student. We need your help and we thank you for your time.”
