We wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who was involved with the Mexican Fiesta fundraiser for our family.  Today was a very special day and we will remember it with fondness in our hearts!  We were touched by the huge attendance and we are thankful to have so many people in our lives that care and pray for our family.  People came from both near and far to attend this event and we are deeply honored by your presence at this event.

We spent most of our time saying hello to old friends as well as greeting people we see often.  We hope that we spoke to everyone who wanted to say hello, but we also understand that there were people that we missed greeting in person.  We frankly ran out of time, as we wanted to talk to everyone involved in this event.  Sorry if we missed greeting anyone!

Thank you to the event planners, the servers, the clean-up crew, as well as those who collected funds and helped with the silent auction.  Again, we tried to thank you in person, but if we missed anyone, please know that the truly value your investment in time and energy.  Again, thank you for helping with this event.  In addition, thank you to our friends and family who indirectly or directly supported this event with your donations and words of encouragement.  It means a lot to us and we appreciate it!

Finally, on behalf of Jackie, Libby, and Carly, I want to thank St. Stephanus Lutheran, my home church, for your support and for providing the space for this event.  Also, we want to thank Central Lutheran School, Bethel Lutheran, Jehovah Lutheran, and Emmaus Lutheran for your support as well, as it wouldn't have been the same without your outpouring of support as well!  Without all of you, we would not be able to make it!

May God bless you all for being involved with this event, for your prayers, and other means of support.  Even if you were not able to make this event, please understand that we appreciate your kind words, your thoughts, and your prayers during this difficult time!
